Laze first ventured into the hip-hop scene in 2007 after winning his debut rap battle competition at the age of just 15. Since then, he has won numerous major rap battle competitions and earned the title of Indonesia's "Freestyle King." Today, Laze is renowned for his clever Indonesian lyrics and sharp wordplay. Widely regarded as one of the best Indonesian-language rappers active today, he is also a member of the acclaimed hip-hop collective ONAR. In 2018, Laze released a full-length Indonesian album titled "Waktu Bicara", following the independent release of his all-English mixtape "Vacant Room" in 2015.
